Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the schoolbus.kz website, our transportation tracking platform, and the NexaRide mobile app (together, the "Service"), operated by SchoolBus ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

If you are using the Service on behalf of a school, organization, or company, you confirm that you have the authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.

Who Can Use the Service

The Service is intended for parents and guardians tracking passengers, school and organization staff managing transportation, and vehicle drivers and operators. Passenger profiles for children are created and managed by a parent or guardian — children do not create their own accounts.

Your Account

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information when registering, and let us know if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

Using the Service

You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose — managing and tracking passenger transportation — and not to:

• Attempt to access data for passengers, routes, or accounts you're not authorized to view
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including its servers or networks
• Use automated tools to access the Service outside of its intended interfaces
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

Location and Tracking Data

The Service's core purpose is showing the real-time location of vehicles to authorized users. Location data shown in the app reflects the position reported by the vehicle's tracking device and may be delayed or unavailable due to connectivity, hardware, or network conditions. We work to keep this data accurate and timely but can't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free tracking.

Mobile Application License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the NexaRide app on devices you own or control, solely to access the Service. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except where applicable law permits it.

If you downloaded the app through the Apple App Store or Google Play, your use is also subject to that platform's usual terms of service.

Content and Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, software, and content (excluding data you or your organization submit), is owned by or licensed to SchoolBus and protected by applicable intellectual property law. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of that content to you.

Data you or your organization submit — such as route information, stop locations, or passenger details — remains yours. By submitting it, you grant us the right to use it solely to operate the Service on your behalf.

Service Availability

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but we don't guarantee it will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. We may need to suspend or modify the Service for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control.

Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the Service's accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. The Service supplements, but does not replace, the transportation safety practices and supervision that schools, organizations, and parents are responsible for.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, SchoolBus will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for accounts that violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time by contacting us.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, where SchoolBus is based, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
